Valencia is one of my favorite cities in Spain, right after Madrid, of course. It’s hard to beat the stunning architecture surrounded by palms, and the Patacona beach is just the cherry on top! Every visit to Valencia reveals new fashion boutiques, hipster coffee spots, and dive bars with quirky interiors. This trip was no different.

Must-Visit Fashion Boutiques

I’ve compiled a list of must-visit stores in Valencia, and if you are a vintage fan, don’t miss these stores in Ruzafa:

For those into concept stores and high-end boutiques, be sure to visit:

Best Coffee Shops for Digital Nomads

My latest discoveries are La Petite Brioche and Bastard, both offering great flat whites (a sure sign the place is top-notch), fantastic food from breakfast to lunch, and absolutely divine pastries. For those working remotely, these cafes have separate spaces designed for digital nomads. Enjoy amazing flat white, delicious breakfasts, and pastries while you work.

Nightlife in Ruzafa: Valencia’s Quirkiest Bars

For nightlife, head to the Ruzafa barrio, known for its quirky bars. Check out La Bella De Cadiz and La Catrina for a cool vibe and tasty vermouth. The hipster nightlife in Ruzafa is something you don’t want to miss.

Valencia UK Garage: A Nostalgic Music Experience

The highlight of this trip was stumbling upon Valencia UK Garage on Meetup. I used to listen to garage and speed garage music over 15 years ago, and I was shocked to see it still thriving! The gig was amazing, with a perfect selection of tracks, although the venue was a bit posh for the genre. The organizer and the MC, Bass Your Soul, along with his DJ girlfriend, were a hit. The crowd was a hilarious mix of posh teens, including girls attempting to twerk, business entrepreneurs, a few rasta, and random backpackers. It was one of the most entertaining nights I’ve had in years, and I loved every minute of it. I hope to see this little collective in Madrid soon!

As you guys know, I mostly focus on fashion now, but once a nomad, always a nomad. Expect more travel chic articles on my website. If you have any questions about Valencia, let me know! Always happy to chat!
